Hakan Hekimoğlu

Dr. Hakan Hekimoglu graduated in 1991 from the Faculty of Dentistry of Ege University (Izmir, Turkey). Following his graduation, he continued to collaborate for 4 years at the department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology of Ege University. In the meantime, Dr. Hekimoglu worked for +10 years at the dental division of the municipal hospital of Izmir, while managing his privately-owned dental practice.

In 1996 Dr. Hekimoglu founded a classical dental lab in Izmir, which quickly became a medium-size lab with more than 50 employees.

Dr. Hekimoglu founded Turkuaz Dental in Izmir in 2002. The company is currently market leader in Turkish dental market for dental ceramics, CAD/CAM equipment, software and digital materials.

In 2014, with his prosthetic manufacturing expertise, Dr. Hekimoglu founded Alyans Dental in Izmir, a digital outsourcing center dedicated to dental clinics to provide fully digital workflows. In addition to this, Dr. Hekimoglu became the COO of Camcube (Montreal, Canada) and managed dental CNC machine production in Izmir.

Dr. Hekimoglu is at the forefront of the digital dentistry movement in Turkey. Today he is the manager of twinMAC (Izmir, Turkey), a technology company focusing on Industry 4.0, sustainable/green manufacturing for medical/dental industries.
